Lunches and coffee breaks

 

Lunches will be served each day of the conference in a reserved part of the Palais les Congrès. Tickets will be provided the first day of the conference to all the participants. The rate for accompanying person is 132 FF per person and should be reserved the day before.

The coffee breaks will be served in the Hall of Posters and Exhibition.

 

 

Facilities

 

Auditorium

One Video projector will be provided in the auditorium. It accommodates transparencies as well as printed in landscape format.

And if needed, one overhead projector will be also available in the auditorium.

 

Computing and paper printing

Free access:

- 4 IBM PCS and 2 Macintoshes with access to Internet will be available.

- 2 ports will also be available for connection with portable PCs

Limited access:

One printer (1FF per copy) and one color printer (5 FF per copy) will be disposal, together with a photocopy machine (1 FF per copy).

 

No facility for making transparencies is supplied since the Video projector accommodates printer paper, and even small objects.

 

Talks on the WEB

The presented talks will be made available on the Beaune99 Web site the week after the conference. We ask the talkers to provide us with a copy of their presentation.

Preferably, it can be sent by e-mail or supplied at the conference as a diskette readable by PC or Macintosh. The accepted format is either Postscript or Word/Powerpoint. Ultimately, the presentation can be scanned during the conference.

 

Posters

The poster size is the standard A0 format, i.e., approximately 90 cm in width and 120 cm in height. The supporting board is 100 cm x 240 cm. We will provide you removable glue to fix your poster on the supporting board.

For those who wish to have their poster on display in the Web site of Beaune99, they should supply the organizers a diskette readable by PC or Macintosh in a PostScript or Word/Powerpoint format. They could also send the file by e-mail.

 

 

Public Transportation

 

Beaune downtown as well as Railway Station are at a reasonnable walking distance (600 m and 2000m respectively). Nevertheless from the Railway Station to the Palais des Congrès we plan to organize a shuttle on Sunday afternoon and Monday morning ; and you of course could take a taxi (for about 45FF).
